Osteoporosis and contraceptives.

 Osteoporosis and contraceptives.

Osteoporosis is a disease that is caused by excessive demineralization of the bone marrow. The demineralization of calcium and other minerals determine the bone loses its mechanical strength. It's like a building made with concrete of poor quality and at the slightest trauma, osteoporotic bones crumble and terrible fractures occur. Osteoporosis makes bones as if moth-eaten.

Formerly this disease was rare, but there are currently over 100 million women suffering from this disease, due to anovulatory contraceptive use (injections, pills, and implants), in which the ovary does not work and it does not produce estrogen, women can not assimilate calcium, eventually causing the famous osteoporosis, that this is more common in women.

The estrogen produced by the ovaries is not only for the reproductive process, but also prevents bone demineralization and behold one of the serious consequences of contraception in addition to the progressive sexual coldness, poor circulation, obesity, increased blood pressure and so on. Another more serious cause is when a woman gives nursing or within the child and the doctor, unconsciously, he makes contraceptives, since these by blocking the function of the ovaries produce estrogen and not natural, the little baby, plus it can affect the sex with homosexual tendencies, not assimilate calcium and this leads to a premature demineralization.

A proper diet containing dairy products ensures adequate daily intake of one gram of calcium, which is the best guarantee to have a good bone density. Physical exercise helps in the setting of calcium in bones.

Some toxic habits influence osteoporosis: the snuff, cigarettes and alcohol. Also, snuff and smoking interfere with the secretion of estrogen, favoring early menopause and hampering the good oxygenation of the blood. Alcohol impairs the absorption of vitamin D that helps to fix calcium. This is why smokers and drinkers are more prone to suffer from fractures in the femoral head. Prolonged administration of cortisone-type medication helps the bone marrow destruction and osteoporosis.
